Key Responsibilities:

Field Operations

• Install, commission, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain Kinetic pressure control equipment at customer locations.

• Perform maintenance and service on K-BOS®, Surface SGV, Subsea SGV, StackLite RVM, hydraulic systems, and related pressure control equipment.

• Conduct functional testing, pressure testing, and system verification prior to equipment deployment.

• Diagnose mechanical failures and recommend corrective actions.

• Perform emergency service calls and equipment repairs in the field.

• Ensure equipment is operating safely and in accordance with customer specifications and company standards.

Shop Operations

• Prepare equipment for customer projects and field deployments.

• Perform preventive maintenance, refurbishment, and repair of company equipment.

• Assist with equipment inspections, inventory, and asset readiness.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

• Support manufacturing and assembly activities as workload requires.

Documentation & Reporting

• Complete field service reports accurately and promptly following each assignment.

• Document inspections, repairs, testing, and customer observations.

• Maintain accurate time records and expense reports.

• Submit recommendations for equipment improvements or recurring issues.

• Ensure all required paperwork is completed in accordance with company procedures.

Customer Support

• Represent Kinetic Pressure Control professionally while working at customer facilities.

• Communicate equipment status, repairs, and recommendations to customers.

• Build and maintain positive customer relationships.

• Assist customers with equipment operation and basic maintenance when appropriate.

Education

• High school diploma or GED required. Technical school, military mechanical training, or vocational education preferred.

Experience

• 2+ years of mechanical maintenance or field service experience.

• Experience with oil & gas equipment, pressure control equipment, valves, hydraulic systems, or rotating equipment preferred.

• Experience working offshore or in industrial environments is highly desirable.

• Must be able pass a background check for VISA and Offshore Requirements

Travel Requirements

• Ability to travel domestically and internationally on short notice.

• Ability to work offshore rotations and extended assignments.

• Must possess or be able to obtain a valid passport.

• Must be able to obtain customer-required certifications (BOSIET, TWIC, SafeGulf, HUET, etc., as applicable).

Physical Requirements

• Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 75 pounds.

• Ability to climb ladders, work at heights, and enter confined spaces as required.

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work in physically demanding environments for extended periods.

• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

• Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Responsibilities

• Support the global month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance of the general ledger and financial transactions with US GAAP
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
• Assist in managing global accounting operations, including consolidations, intercompany transactions, and technical accounting matters
• Assist in the preparation of consolidated financial statements and external reporting deliverables
• Drive external audit and tax return support processes
• Oversee inventory accounting (materials, WIP, finished goods), including valuation, costing, and reserves
• Analyze manufacturing variances (labor, material, overhead absorption, scrap, and rework) and product profitability
• Reconcile inventory counts, partnering with Manufacturing, Materials, and Operations to improve accuracy
• Support capital expenditure evaluation and financial analysis for pricing and margin decisions
• Analyze manufacturing costs, labor reporting, overhead absorption, and production variances to support management review and operational decisions
• Assist in monitoring daily cash activity, bank reconciliations, treasury activities, cash flow forecasting, and adherence to budgets
• Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed asset accounting
• Review aging reports and assist with collection efforts when needed
• Maintain and strengthen internal controls, segregation of duties, and approval processes across all critical business processes globally
• Develop and improve accounting policies and procedures, building the control framework toward public company readiness
• Identify and resolve control deficiencies and implement corrective actions
• Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and corporate filing/reporting obligations
• Improve reporting accuracy and support new module implementation with financial reporting enhancements
• Build process improvements, automation opportunities, and best practices to streamline close timelines and reporting efficiency
• Partner with the Corporate Controller on global controllership initiatives, cross-functional projects, and special projects as assigned

Education Required

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

Experience Required

• 5-8 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
• Experience with month-end and year-end close processes.
• Experience preparing financial statements and account reconciliations.
• ERP experience (NetSuite preferred).

Preferred

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
• CMA (Certified Management Accountant) or progress toward certification.
• Manufacturing accounting experience.
• Cost accounting and inventory accounting experience.
• Oil & gas, industrial manufacturing, or engineered products experience.
• Experience supporting external audits.
• Experience with standard costing and inventory control.

The position serves as the central coordination point between Operations, Engineering, Human Resources, Project Management, customers, and third-party vendors to ensure personnel and equipment arrive safely, compliantly, and on schedule.

• Responsible for designing, developing, testing, commissioning and supporting the design, manufacturing and testing for projects and products over their full lifecycle.
• Design, write and/or configure software and hardware for equipment and/or applications.
• Develop, review and/or approve conceptual and detailed engineering design packages.
• Adhere to company quality standards and follow engineering checking and approval procedures
• Review and/or approve vendor drawings for compliance with project specifications
• Provide support for the implementation, training, troubleshooting and controlled version management of electrical products locally and on deployments.
• Work with customers (internal/external) and review project defining documents to understand project requirements.
• Work in team project environment responsible for hardware and software from selection through to implementation to meet design requirements. Collaborating with other engineers to create meaningful solutions to challenging engineering problems.
• Support Supply Chain and Operations departments during manufacture, assembly, commissioning, and installation of new and existing products.
• Set realistic expectations and ensure assigned projects are completed according to schedule and within budget
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical equipment, instrumentation and PLC software.
• Understand and provide input for PLC software used to monitor and automate a new generation of BOP control systems, remote valve manifolds (RVM) and their auxiliary systems.
• Good understanding in PLC software and HMI Applications used on RVM, BOP and their auxiliary systems.
• Write and perform internal testing, customer FAT and on-site commissioning of control systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot associated hardware, configurations and software as required including providing remote field support when needed.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of hardware and software documentation to effectively manage products. This includes but is not limited to assembly/manufacturing/testing procedures, Operations and Maintenance Manuals, Installation/Commissioning procedures, event specific troubleshoot procedures and Management of Change / Quality scope.
• Review the design work completed by other members of the engineering department as an objective third party, providing constructive feedback.
• Assist in developing training material and mentor knowledge and skillsets with other engineering team members.
• Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.
• Comply with all Kinetic Pressure Control Company and HSE policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or electrical engineering or similar disciplines.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge and understanding of Oil and Gas industry.
• MoC systems experience.
• Ability to simplify complex engineering systems to deliver required design outcomes within time and budget constraints.
• Ability to undertake domestic or international travel.
• Good interpersonal communication skills, energy, and enthusiasm, with the interest and ability to work in a small team environment.
• Strong oral and written English language communication skills.
• Highly efficient user of Microsoft Office product suite.
• Proven problem solving and creative thinking ability as well as product design experience.
• Ability to provide direction for junior engineers and drafting personnel.
